CityBarge wants to contribute to emission-free city centers by developing a platform that makes logistical operations over water possible. An app is being developed with partners to aid this. Early March, CityBarge and the Hague University of Applied Sciences organized a makeathon. Here, thirty students set to work on the question: what does the new information platform for water transport look like? Concepts were developed where residents can see the location of the boat and whether the waste bins are empty and accessible.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Sensor are used to judge the fill grade and will indicate when an exchange of the barge is necessary.
